Air India Flight passengers will get WiFi internet facility from BSNL WiFi services

Air India is to tieup with BSNL to offer free internet facility to its paasengers on its aircrafts under.
State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to provide on-board WiFi internet services for Air India flight passengers.

As per latest information, Air India is in talks with BSNL network to offer high-speed data services in its Aircrafts to on-board passengers. In this connection Airline has requested to BSNL to submit estimation of installing WiFi facility in its Aircrat with WiFi on-board.

Speaking to media senior Air India official said, ‘We are keen to have internet on board as AI operates the longest flights out of India and this is a facility that is being increasingly provided by several leading global airlines. However, we are first seeing how much project will cost and if found feasible we will like to have the same on our aircraft’.

Through this facility the customers traveling in Air India Flight can enjoy high-speed internet and experience above 4.5G WiFi facility.

Recently Air India Chief Ashwani Lohani met with BSNL CMD Anupam shrivastava and requested to work out the feasibility and the estimated cost to setup on-board WiFi service in its aircrafts.
