Leading Telecom Company Bharati Airtel has announced the hike of its DTH service plans tariff across India.
As per latest information, After Tata Sky Airtel is the one most popular DTH provider having maximum number of connections.
The company increased its DTH tariff upto 10% in the entry level monthly packs which are subscribed by almost 80 percent of total active Digital TV users.
Airtel is following in the footsteps of Tata Sky for increasing second time of DTH tariff. The company records ARPU of Rs.232 and has more than 12.4 million subscribers which is expanded during last few quarter after Cable TV digitization.
The existing Prime pack of Rs.276 is revised to Rs.285 this is the 3rd time pushed up the rates. While medium level Value Max pack of Rs.306 is revised to Rs.315.
Airtel DTH subscribers have to pay much more tha rates offered by Local cable operators in Delhi the capital of the country.

- Value Prime Pack Rest of India subscribers the existing rate Rs.276 revised to Rs.285
- Value Max Pack for Delhi subscribers the existing rate Rs.306 revised to Rs.315
- Value Max Pack for Rest of India subscribers the existing rate Rs.306 revised to Rs.315
- Super Value pack for South India subscribers the existing rate Rs.227 revised to Rs.243
In a statement the company official sources said, ‘The revision is necessary and the company is focusing more to improve customer services and satisfaction to retain customers from moving to other DTH operators’.
