Mobikwik launches e-cash payments for Tatkal rail tickets at IRCTC

IRCTC tieup with Mobikwik for Tatkal rail ticket bookings via e-cash services
Leading online recharge portal Mobikwik has announced the launch of e-cash payment option for its users for booking of Tatkal ticket bookings.

As per latest information, IRCTC users having mobikwik account can book Tatkal train tickets within two seconds using Mobikwik wallet services.

In a statement Mobikwik Co-founder Upasana Taku said, ‘MobiKwik collaborated with Indian Railways to digitize payments on the IRCTC app and IRCTC FoodOnTrack app this year, and now we are powering payments for tatkal online, that will help users book tickets almost instantly. We are proud to support the largest rail network in Asia in their endeavor to digitize payments and provide the best payments experience to their users’.

This source of option is very useful to those customers who plan journeys during the last moment or for those who fail to secure a seat reservation otherwise. Users through www.services.irctc.co.in can book their tickets between 08:00am to 12:00pm daily where an average of 15 percent travelers daily book their tatkal tickets at IRCTC.

IRCTC account holders having account at Mobikwik will work only when they load sufficient amount for ticket booking in their e-wallet through net-banking, credit or debit card or cash loading. However,
