BSNL 4G services in Telangana on pilot basis launched in Banswada town and Kandakurti of Nizamabad district.
The adopted village of the MP, on 15-02-2019 and appealed to BSNL officials that they should compete with private telecom companies and provide better services to people of Nizamabad.
The MP Kavitha participated in the telecom advisory committee meeting held at Nizamabad Collectorate. Speaking to Media, Kavitha said that BSNL was a government subsidiary and the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, always believes that BSNL should be encouraged for better services.
She said that In Nizamabad town 58 Wi-Fi hotspots were available and in future more hotspots should be provided. In future, BSNL services should utilize T-Hub for better services, because of this MoU both organizations should benefit, said the MP.
In the Nizamabad telecom circle, BSNL was providing 4G services at three places in Banswada Assembly constituency, nine places in Kamareddy district and 26 places of Nizamabad district.
BSNL was running 84 telephone exchanges in Nizamabad district, providing 2,88,779 prepaid mobile connections, 1,267 post-paid mobile connections, 11,962 landline connections and 6,089 broad band connections in Nizamabad telecom district.
The Nizamabad BSNL Telecom general manager and telecom advisory committee members participated in the meeting.
